Ammonites from various paleontological localities of the Kroměříž region (Cetechovice and Roštín) form a large part of the collection, along with ammonite aptychi from the Kurovice quarry. There are also snail and mollusc shells of predominantly Miocene origin from within the Vienna Basin. Fossils from the Kroměříž district are represented by interesting imprints of Cenozoic fish – Lepidopus, Scopeloides and Diaphus geni from the Litenčice area.
