The Treasures from an old attic is an atmospheric exhibition situated in newly reconstructed authentic interiors of the museum’s attic. It was developed in collaboration with the people of Kroměříž and the nearby villages who responded to the authors’ call to bring in old and forgotten or unusual objects discovered in attics or in cellars of their homes. The exhibition takes the visitors into the world of imagination that is emphasized by the authentic interiors with original roof beams, dark nooks, and mysterious doors. A play of light and darkness create a mysterious atmosphere that invites to exploring the unknown and discovering treasures hidden in the most unexpected of places.
