A project under the IROP scheme, specific goal 4.4: Strengthening the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation.
The project dealt with an inadequate technical condition of a stable within the manorial farmyard in Rymice. The roofs were leaking, there were no electricity and security connections. The leaking rainwater caused disintegration of the wooden truss structures, windows and doors, and damage to the walls. The building was dilapidating and was not meeting the conditions of Act No 122/2000 Coll. on the Protection of museum collections. Through the reconstruction, an appropriate space was created for the collection items, and the revitalisation of the entire manorial farmyard has been completed.
The revitalisation has led to a significant improvement of the building’s technical condition. The development of a depository for large farming mechanisms and tools has created proper conditions for the storage and preservation of these items, the ethnographical depository built under the revitalisation of the farmyard was enlarged, and it will be made accessible for professional public and schools.
Financial support from EU funds was provided towards the “Reconstruction of horse stables at the manorial farmyard in Rymice” project.
The overall cost of the project exceeded 16 million CZK; the EU grant was nearly 14 million CZK.
