Article 1 – General provisions
1. Visitor areas of the Kroměříž District Museum (hereinafter as KDM) are the designated spaces that are accessible to the public and are used for presentation of the museum collections through exhibitions and displays, accompanying cultural programmes and other events.
2. The accessibility of these KDM spaces is limited by the defined opening hours, is provided against payment (admission fee) and covers a specified range of services delivered by the supervising KDM staff. The timing of the visitor hours and the admission fees are visibly displayed in the entrance area and published on the KDM website (www.muzeum-km.cz). KDM reserves the right to modify the opening hours due to operational reasons from time to time, or to restrict the operation of individual exhibitions and displays. The visitors will be informed about this through the information board and the museum website.
3. Upon entering the museum building, the visitor shall pay the admission fee at the cash desk (reception). The admission fee can be paid in cash or by a cashless instrument (card). The ticket sale starts with the opening of the visitor areas and ends typically 30 minutes before the end of the opening hours. Souvenirs and other items for sale can be purchased until the end of the opening hours. All visitors shall keep a valid ticket until leaving the building to be able to show it to the guide or other authorised officer upon request. The entrance fees are determined by a valid pricelist displayed at the museum cash desk. A ticket is valid for one entry only. A purchased ticket cannot be returned or changed.
4. KDM offers benefits and discounts from the set prices of admission to individual and group visitors upon conditions arranged between KDM and organisations offering coordinated services for the development of tourism, cooperation between museums, cultural facilities, etc. The benefits and discounts are presented at the cash desk of the visitor areas and on the KDM website. Any potential discount from the regular admission shall be claimed by the visitor prior to the purchase of a ticket and by presenting a relevant pass or document entitling to the discount. Outside the stated time-specific benefits and discounts, the KDM Director may, upon an individual request or application, grant one-time benefits and discounts.
